American Exports Feed the World
The US pork
industry achieved its 16th straight record-setting year of exports in 2007,
sending nearly three billion pounds of pork to other nations around the world. Japan is the top destination
for US pork, accounting for more than a third of all US pork exports. Mexico is second, followed by Canada. The China-Hong Kong market is the largest
growth area for US pork exports. WBE.Net Founder/CEO Roosevelt Roby says, "This is one
more example of how the world values America. You might hear that we are not popular here or there, but the
facts speak for themselves: America is
feeding millions. We are helping the world's children to gain the strength
they need to study and grow and make their countries strong...and allies of
America."
Plan Now - Money Is On the Way!
Congress has
passed and the President has signed the awaited multibillion-dollar economic
stimulus plan. Now the country wonders what we'll do with this gift to our
mailbox. Most
households stand to receive $300 to $1,200.
Due to worries about a possible recession, many plan to add to
their savings accounts, invest the money, or pay some bills. But analysts report
this $170 billion package will only save America from a crisis if we put it to
work by spending it! The
WBE.Net notes that the strongest sector of the US economy is export trade. That's what's been holding up our economy,
and that's what The World Business Exchange Network teaches. Tell your friends
to call toll free to (800) 537-7347 so WBE.Net can send them a CD and brochure
- No Obligation - about how to learn international trade and still have cash
left over from that check. They'll
be investing in America's future, and their own futures too!
Let's Play
Argentina's toy
market totals $600 million a year. Imports
into Argentina amount to 85 percent of the overall market with China leading
the way, followed by the United States, Italy and Denmark. Key
dates for toy sales in Argentina are Christmas, and Children's Day in August.
One of the most effective ways to break into this potentially lucrative
US export market is to attend toy shows in Argentina. Exhibitors often hook up with trading partners through contacts
they make at these fairs. Argentina's leading trade show for toys will take place from
April 27-30, 2008 in Buenos Aires,
sponsored by the Argentine Association of Toy Manufacturers. For further information and assistance,

Energy Independence: Hydrogen
As America moves
to free itself from the need to import oil - often from countries not friendly
to the US - a promising
alternative is using hydrogen to power our vehicles. Imagine using electric vehicles that run on hydrogen, the most abundant
element in the universe! We already
have cars and trucks that use hydrogen fuel cells that create electricity with no battery recharge needed and no
gasoline required. A fuel cell is a
chemical-reaction box. In the case of
the hydrogen car, this fuel cell combines hydrogen,
stored in a tank, with oxygen from the air, to make electricity. Aside from the power that runs the car,
water vapor and heat are the only other byproducts. Honda, which maintains extensive design and manufacturing
facilities in the US, has just introduced a revolutionary fuel cell hydrogen
car, the FCX Clarity, which has a range of 270 miles per tankful, and a top
speed of over 100 mph.
Did You Know?
America is the largest exporting nation on the planet, but we could
easily grow in this area. Less than one in five US companies send
their product overseas. That's mostly
due to thinking that America's huge domestic market is sufficient for long-term
success. Yet, with a possible US
recession looming, it makes sense to expose US products to markets across the
planet. The first concept to
accept: you
are not too small to do this. Most
exporters are small-to-medium companies - they account for more than 95% of the
country's exports! Here are the two best ways to make sure you get paid: Lining up an Advance Payment by credit card or wire transfer generally
assures you success in receiving your cut of the deal. The next best
payment method after that is a Letter of Credit. Check with your bank for detailed information.
