The Dutch: Great Trade Partners

An excellent place for Americans to export to is the Netherlands.  Every year, the US sells more than 30 billion dollars worth of goods to the European nation of 16 million.  The leading category of American exports to the Netherlands is pharmaceuticals - nearly five billion dollars last year.  Rounding out the top five categories - each at roughly two billion dollars - are medical equipment, telecommunications equipment, computer accessories and organic chemicals.   Other items that Americans are having  great success with in selling to the Netherlands include civilian aircraft and airplane parts -  with combined export value of well over a billion dollars a year - as well as dairy products, fuel oil, soybeans and copper.

How To Get It There

When it comes to simplifyng the export and cargo-moving process, one of the most useful tools for exporters across the world is FedEx,  a leading logistics services company.  It was founded as Federal Express in 1971 as the first cargo airline that used only jet airplanes for its services, and expanded rapidly after that.  Basically, it works to ease and quicken your export-import process.  For example, FedEx International Priority Freight promises overseas delivery in 1 to 3 business days, while FedEx International Economy Freight is available if you have more time. FedEx International Priority Freight flies to 130 countries and territories. Based in Memphis, the firm also hubs in Indiana;  North Carolina; Ohio; New Jersey; California, Alaska;  Texas;  Florida; and Louisiana.

Message From The Founder

Roosevelt Roby, Founder and CEO of  The World Business Exchange Network, would like all present and future WBE.Net members to welcome 2008 with expectations of hope and success.  Mr. Roby, whose trade course pioneered Internet-based schooling since its launch 20 years ago, has a solution for the small business owner:  "Have yourself or one of your employees take the WBE.Net course.  We'll hook you into our Internet database, provide personal counseling, and show you how to export US-made products to the world.  Go to my website at www.wbe.net and you'll quickly see that we understand the needs of the entrepreneur.  And don't think you're too small to get into this.  This course is designed to equip individuals to begin exporting, and for 2007, our country has exported well over a trillion dollars worth of goods and services to the world.  Job well done!"
