Students and teachers from Alain Leroy Locke, King Drew Medical Magnet, Mid City Magnet and David Starr Jordan High Schools were given their first introduction to the international movers and shakers who shape the global economy.Student delegates mingled with buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, foreign Ambassadors and Chambers of Commerce, exchanging business cards and discussing subject matter and terminology taken from the LAUSD approved course curriculum being taught in their classrooms.
